Products I use, HAIR edition
I got this idea from a friend's blog (thanks Jessica!) and I have a slight obsession with hair/skin products, my mom would always make me clean out under my sink in high school when she needed new hair stuff b/c I had tons, and that is usually where the stuff that I didn't like ended up. So since I have tested out a ton of products I thought I would share a few of my favs.
Shampoo/Conditioner
I really love pureology, I don'r feel like anything works as well with my hair, but it is SO expensive. Lately I discovered that the new Loreal EverPure was made by the same company (it even SMELLS the same as pureology) but it is only $5 a bottle and works almost as well!
Hairspray
I am obsessed with the bigsexyhair hair spray. AMAZING. (my husband also uses it every morning... but don't tell him I told you)
Other hair products
Two staples that I cannot live without are the Matrix Shine Milk, which I use before brushing out my hair, I have used it for forever, and have been out for 6 months or so, and finally gave in a bought some more and it was SO worth it, and the Matrix sleek look thermal smoother before I use my straightener. On curly/wave days I use either the curlysexyhair gel or Alterna Hemp Organic Texturizing glaze. Oh and I always finished with the Chi Shine Spray.
My sister-in-law, Jordan, just introduced me to the wet brush. Since my hair has gotten longer, it is a PAIN to brush out after I wash it, and this brush is so amazing, I have no idea how it works, but it works and was totally worth the $7 I paid to get it off of amazon. If you have problems with tangled wet hair or little girls with tangled wet hair, I STRONGLY suggest this brush, I will be using it on my little girl one day.
I use a babyliss pro straightener and blow dryer, for my hair they work much better than a Chi. I have a Chi that I begged Bryan to buy me after we got married, and it has become my back up/gym bag straightener because my babyliss is amazing.
Thats all I have time for right now, baby boy is waking up hungry! I will do a skin and makeup edition in the near future. Comment and let me know your favs! I love trying out new stuff. :)
