3 months old
My sweet boy is 3 months old tomorrow.
I can honestly say that I have never known so great a love until having this amazing little boy in my life. A few updates about Hudson Buettemeyer, I am going to write to him...
Hudson,
-You love to smile at mommy and daddy first thing in the morning
-You love it when daddy un-swaddles you and wakes you up, you do the cutest little stretch and smile so big.
-You wear size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes (which are getting too short for you) and a some newborn onesies still.
-When Sadie licks your face, you smile, even if mommy doesn't like it, you still think its funny.
-You love bright lights and your changing table. We could lay you on your changing table for hours and you would just play and play.
-You have started hitting your toys on your play mat and sucking on your fingers, your hands are like your new favorite thing.
-You can be screaming mad and mommy can rock you and the minute you grab my hair you stop crying (I have claw marks on my chest to prove that you look for my hair when its up)
-You love it when daddy flies you around and gives the "Hudson Chopper One" commentary. It's so sweet, and secretly, not only are you super adorable, but so is daddy.
-You successfully sat in your Bumbo for more than 2 minutes for the first time today, this makes mommy happy!
-Every day I feel like you learn something new, I feel like by watching your face I can see you learning, I LOVE that.
-You are still sleeping in your pack and play in mommy and daddy's bathroom, but will be going to your crib soon now that you have slept through the night 5 nights in a row.
-Mommy loves it that you wake up every morning at 5 and snuggle with her in bed until daddy leaves for work.
-You eat 6 times a day, and are getting a 5 oz bottle every night before bed.
-You really love your paci and giraffe sound machine.
-You are the very best thing that has ever happened to mommy and daddy and we are so excited to celebrate your first Christmas soon. You bring so many people joy and we love you so much.

Well, Jenna of course this has me crying as I read it... I am so glad that Hudson has such a loving mama and daddy, and he has to feel your love for him... Just think that our first baby was your dad and how much we loved him, and still do... Then followed by your uncles who each one was special and precious to us... But from your dad's life, you were born, and what a blessing you have been to Gpa and I, then we now have added Bryan and Hudson to our lives, and Gpa and I are blessed many times over.. So I'm saying that you guys will be so blessed by this sweet little baby child, and many more blessings because you brought him into your life..... and ours.. Knowing you are bringing him up to know the Lord, and being the Godly examples you both need to be for him just makes everything so much sweeter.. We love you all three, and can't wait to spend time with you this holiday season.. I just took some snickerdoodles, chocolate crinkles, and other goodies out of the oven... I am in preparation for the arrival of all of our dear, dear family... Love you, Gma J
