Meal Planner Tuesday
Monday: Bible study with BLG-- it's family favorites night so I made Bryan's favorite Corn Dip (thanks to our friend Richard for the recipe) with tortilla chips.
Corn Dip
2 cans of whole kernel corn
1 can of rotel
8 oz cream cheese (partially melted)
chili powder (to taste)
garlic power (to taste)
cumin (to taste)
Mix all together in a microwavable bowl until melted and hot. Serve with tortilla chips, we like it on tacos too!
Tuesday: out to eat with family, Market Place!
Wednesday: bachelorette party for my bestie that is getting married in a month... out to eat, again.
Thursday: Lloyd's BBQ and Hawaiian sweet rolls... didn't end up eating them last week, so it is a re-do.
Friday: this looks delish! Jenna's Journey Flank Steak and homemade tortillas
I am making banana bread in my bread maker this morning and I can't wait to try it. It is so easy and you could do it in a snap in the oven too.
Banana Bread
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 c sugar
2 bananas chopped, or mashed
3 tbsp vegetable oil
you can add nuts or chocolate chips in the last mixing cycle, I used the quick bread cycle.
We are back home and it feels wonderful to be sleeping in our own bed again... the only down side is that the roof is being redone and it is kind of hard for a baby to nap with all of that, but I am hoping they are done soon.
We leave for the beach on Sunday, so I will be MIA next week. Anyone wanting to guest blog, let me know! I am actually guest blogging on my friend, Brittany's blog Naturally Estes today, you should check it out!

We make corn dip like that too...but I use 1 can yellow sweet corn and 1 can white shoepeg corn. We love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that banana bread recipe - I didn't realize I could use my bread maker for that!! That would be so great - it is so hot I hate having to turn on the oven :-)
