How I Save-- Easter Edition!

I hope you all had a very Happy Easter! I worked Friday and Saturday and we just kind of took it easy on Sunday and spent time with family. I don't have any pictures of us in our Easter attire because Hudson somehow messed his up at church.

Anyways, I went for my weekly Monday grocery shopping trip to Target and Wal-Mart today and I picked up some awesome deals on Easter stuff! Since Hudson is still little we didn't really do the whole Easter egg hunt or dying thing. He did get a basket of goodies though. So I thought today would be a great time to stock up on some great Easter stuff for next year, when he'll be big enough to know what is going on.

I got everything pictured above for less than $14. I was wanting an Easter Tree but definitely not wanting to pay retail. My mom got me the cutest ceramic eggs to go on a tree so when I found the tree above at Target on clearance for $6.50, I jumped on it! It has little felt eggs on it that I will take off next year and it was so cheap because it was missing a few eggs too, which I don't care about since I have other ones. The plastic eggs were $0.50/pack and the grass was $0.24/pack. The egg dye kit was $1.24. I got two little M'n'M tins for $2 and the wheelie cars for $2 each for Hudson's basket next year. All in all, it was a success and now I have a box full of Easter-y things (that I got for half price!) for this time next year when Hudson will be big enough to enjoy it!

Don't forget to enter the Naturally Estes giveaway for an awesome tote bag HERE... I've extended it until tomorrow because I am behind and feeling extra nice ;-)
