Fathers Day and an office redo!

For Father's Day I decided to re-do our office for Bryan. So far it has been a room where we just "store" things/throw a bunch of junk in and shut the doors. We had been casually looking at desks but weren't sure what we were wanting to do yet. So I worked my tail off last week selling clothes and running errands for my parents to make some extra cash so I could completely surprise B without him even knowing the money was missing. I made about $200 which was just about how much I needed, so I was a happy girl! On Tuesday Hudson and I went to a local store called Decorate Me, and found the perfect desk that retailed for $599 and we got it for $150! I totally recommend this store to people in NWA. The desk was from Sams Club and had been returned, nothing was wrong with it and they even delivered it to my house! I scheduled for them to deliver it on Friday so I could get it set up before Bryan got home from work. Hudson and I went to Hobby Lobby and got decorations Friday morning and I feel like the office came together nicely!

This is Hudson's big boy bed, we aren't ready for him to be in it yet, so it is hanging out in the office for now.

Bryan was so surprised and he LOVES it. I am happy that I pulled off the surprise!!

On Sunday we had all of our family over for lunch. We grilled steaks and had a bunch of yummy sides. It was the first time for us to host a family lunch at our house, and it turned out so well!

And the last thing about our weekend is that Hudson was sick with Roseola, running a high fever followed by a rash. It was not a fun weekend by any means, but we spent a lot of time cuddling on the couch, which I do like! He is back to his chipper self now though!
