Zoo

This past weekend, we decided to take a little family trip to Tulsa and go to the zoo. Bryan took a half day on Friday and we went Friday afternoon. We really made it a weekend where we just did a lot of fun stuff with Hudson and we had a great time.

We started by going to the Aquarium, Hudson was kind of afraid of the fish but he loved the shark tank. Then we went to an awesome Mexican Restaurant, Teds... delish!!! Then we went to the mall and took Hudson to make his very first build a bear. It was sweet because he chose to make a long horn that he now calls "moo". He got to ride the carousel with daddy and it was a big hit too. We ended the night by swimming in the hotel pool and battling with a two year old not wanting to go to sleep because he could see mommy and daddy were still up.

Saturday morning we got up early and ate breakfast at Krispy Kreme. Hudson hadn't ever had a donut before, and he was a big fan! Then we went to the zoo bright and early. We thought we were going to beat the heat, and the first 20 minutes weren't awful, but the time we left it was pretty hot! A lot of the animals were just laying around so I think the most fun thing for Hudson was riding the train. After the zoo we went and did some shopping at a cute shopping center that I like that has Pottery Barn Kids, Anthropologie and Restoration Hardware... places we don't have around here. Then we finished out the trip by eating lunch at Bryan's favorite restaurant... Cheesecake Factory! Yum Yum!

We really had a great weekend and it was fun to just get away and do fun stuff with Hudson!
