Dreaming in blue chevron!

Since finding out that baby 2 was a boy, I have changed my nursery aspirations. I have been eyeing this certain bedding from Pottery Barn... and I had a coupon code that expired today, so I caved in and got it!

They are sold out of the bumper, which is okay with me because I am not really into the whole zebra thing. So I got the chevron quilt and the pillow along with ADORABLE teal sheets with tiny elephants. I am going to just get a plain brown bumper and the crib is pretty close to the ground so I don't need a crib sheet.

My friend Mae is like the craftiest person I know. She is painting and antiquing an armour for the baby's room and she also posted this sign on her FB page a few weeks ago and although this one already sold I am going to beg her to make me another one!

We have a twin bed in that room and I am thinking about just doing a white comforter with blue accent pillows. I want to get vintage-y letters to do his name above that bed, and I am thinking maybe the winnie the pooh quote above his bed.... We have a tan glider to potentially put in the corner (if there is enough room) and I will put the chevron pillow in that and YES I want his name on that pillow, but we have to decide on a name first, ha. Anyways, it is coming together, at least in my head... I bought him his first outfit yesterday... and even though I have a plethora of boy clothes, I just needed to get him a few things of his own!
