Swagbucks
I am so excited to start this week long event of some of my favorite Christmas deals and steals!
I want to start by talking about a company that just gives away money.
Yep, that's right. They give money away.
For simple things, like searching the web and shopping online.
I have two kids under 4. I do not go shopping nearly as much as I would like, which is probably a good thing because before kids I spent way too much money shopping. I do almost all of my shopping online.
Enter: Swagbucks.
"Swagbucks.com is an online portal dedicated to helping you earn digital dollars called "Swag Bucks", which can be redeemed for exclusive Swagbucks.com merchandise."
This site is legit. I wanted to share some pictures and experiences I have had with Swagbucks.
I have done a few of their surveys and daily polls but the majority of my points have come from using their search engine and shopping at stores that I already shop at but doing it through Swagbucks. I have only been using Swagbucks since September and have already racked up $20 in Amazon giftcards.
This is a screen shot showing money I have spent at online stores and the points I have accumulated so far. The last two Wal-Mart orders were Christmas and Birthday presents that I ordered site to store. It takes a month after your order to get the points deposited into your account, but it is a great way to get some extra money back for things you are already buying.
Amazon gift cards are the best deal in my opinion. You can get a $5 gift card for 450 SB. All other $5 gift cards are 500 SB. I do a lot of shopping on Amazon, especially this time of year, so these come in very handy! You can see above that I spent $50 at Wal-Mart and will be getting 207 SB, which is already almost half way to another gift card.
I also wanted to share a fun deal I got in my Swagbucks email this morning.
Now normally I am very skeptical of these deals. I love saving money and I love buying books for my boys. This year we are doing the 4 gift thing with them (something they want, something they need, something to wear, something to read) and I haven't gotten books yet. Also, we don't have ANY of these four Dr Seuss books yet. I read all of the fine print and looked online at reviews of this program and it seems very simple to cancel after you get this first order, in any case, I will be keeping close look over our credit card statement to make sure I don't get over charged.
So I got four books and a calendar for $3.96. I am planning on giving each of my boys two of the books and putting the calendar in Hudson's stocking. Better yet...
I got an automatic 500 SB and redeemed them right away for a $5 Amazon gift card. So I made money by buying these books. Now, this is a subscription and I always write these things on my calendar so I make sure and cancel before I get charged again, because that's how they'll get you. But I think this is a pretty good deal for something on my Christmas list that I needed anyways!
All that to say, I really like Swagbucks and I really like Cyber Monday. I will be doing a lot of online shopping tomorrow and I will be doing it all through Swagbucks so I can make some money back. You can also see above that I searched something this morning through their search engine and got 9 SB, it is so easy.
You get free Swagbucks just for signing up.
So, Go check out Swagbucks HERE and let me know what you think and what deals you find!
(I was not compensated for this post, all opinions and experiences are my own. If you sign up for Swagbucks through my referral link I will get bonus bucks for each SB you earn through search and earn)
