Choosing Joy
You may be noticing that my blog looks a little different this morning. I have been wanting to take my blog in a new direction for awhile now but wasn't sure how to get it done. I am SO thankful that my dear life-long friend Mickelle was able to take the vision that I had and make it come to life.
My mantra, if you will, since losing Janet has been about choosing to be joyful. Most days I do not wake up feeling joy, but I am choosing joy because the Lord promises that "Joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30).
I couldn't think of a verse more fitting for right now than this one...
"And do not be grieved, for the JOY of the Lord is your strength." -Nehemiah 8:10
So while my blog is still "You and Me plus Hudson is Three" it is now taking a turn to talk about my quest for Choosing Joy.
