It Works!

A sweet blog reader, Jarvis, contacted me a few weeks ago to ask if I would be interested in trying out some of her products, after talking to her and finding out that it was for It Works body wraps, I was 100% in!

A friend of mine had just told me about these magical body wraps the week before this. I was so skeptical. You wear a body wrap for 45 min, take it off and lose inches... what?? Why have I been working out so hard if I can lose inches so easily? I remember coming home and telling Bryan about it, who immediately started googling it and we watched a few YouTube videos, still not super impressed. I didn't think my friend was lying to me, I just was skeptical.

So when Jarvis contacted me and gave me the opportunity to try it for myself I was all in. She sent me a cute little package with a body wrap, a face wrap, two green chews and a greens berry drink mix.

Before I talk about my results I wanted to show you the products and how they worked for me...

hahaha face mask selfie

Like I said, I was a skeptic about this whole body wrap thing... but after following Jarvis' instructions to a T and taking before pictures with the idea that I wouldn't be posting them anywhere... I was amazed when right after taking off the wrap I had lost 2 inches.

The lotion continues to work for 72 hours, and as of today I am down 3.5 inches around my midsection. So, needless to say, now I am a believer. It uses a process called lipolysis to remove the toxins from the fat. The face wrap is like a mini-facial. I definitely felt an improvement in my skin's texture and appearance. I loved the fruit chews and the greens drink was so yummy and gave me so much energy! If you want more info about the It Works products you can check out Jarvis' website.

Local friends, Jarvis is thinking about coming to AR and doing a party, would y'all come? I'd love to meet some of the other local bloggers and friends I have met through twitter and IG! Let me know if you're interested!

And for everyone else (and local friends too), Jarvis is giving away a face mask and a body wrap for FREE... And because I am already sharing bare belly pictures, something I NEVER thought I would be doing, I wanted to share my almost one month progress...
Bryan took the picture on the left on Feb. 3, the one on the right is today. I have been doing insanity, eating better, and used the body wrap and I can see a significant difference. I was getting frustrated because the scale hasn't really moved, I've lost around 5 lbs, but it is obvious my belly has shrunk significantly! I was excited to see such a big difference. So this is proof that hard work does pay off, and while I do think that the wrap helped, I did most of this on my own!

  9. How do you like insanity? I'm considering it, but I don't have the best joints and wonder if it would be too hard on them.

    1. I love Insanity! I don't have the best joints either, I have torn my ACL twice. I have to modify some of the moves and always wear my knee brace. Also, I make my own schedule, I try not to do more than three of the hard work outs in a row. If I am hurting I ice and take a few days off. Let me know if you try it and what you think!

  14. Oh my gosh! You look great you should be so proud of yourself! I've been losing weight lately and I can't think of any special tips...hmmm. I guess my best one is to not let a little slip up mess up your entire day or week. I always try to account for my cheat meals or treats but you know sometimes you just go over your calories for the day. And when that happens it's SO easy to just want to eat junk the rest of the day since you're already over. I don't beat myself up over it anymore and I don't let it ruin the rest of my day by making more unhealthy choices!

  15. Nothing helped lose weight faster than nursing! Other than that, portion control. I try hard to not ever completely cut something out, I just try to limit the amount I eat. And never beat yourself up over having a binge- just don't let it keep you from losing faith and motivarion. :)

  16. Ive lost 80 plus pounds since last May. I've basically gone to mostly clean eating, cutting out soda (my one true addiction) and walking/bike riding. Who knew that simple exercise and eating mostly unprocessed food would work. Thanks for the opportunity.
