I like to SAVE.

Yesterday I was brave and took my boys to THREE stores to get this week's savings! They did pretty good and Momma kept her cool most of the time, ha!

First we went to Walgreens.

I did two transactions.
T1:
Colgate Optic White sale $3
-$1.00 mfc from coupons.com
Got back $2 RR
Paid $2

T2:
Nice Popcorn Clearance $0.80
Used a $1.50 RR from last week

Starbucks Refreshers on sale for 2/$3
Got back 2000 balance points ($2 reward)
Used $2 RR from T1

Paid $0.30
Left with 2000 balance points for next time
Walgreens total: $2.30 (minus the balance pts, $0.30)

Then we went to Target...

Digorno Pizzas on sale for 2/$10

Total for 2: $4.60
(I like to keep these in the deep freezer so that when we get the urge to order pizza I can pull this out and save us some money, that is BIG savings there considering these were $2 a piece and we spend close to $20 when ordering pizza)

(also needed milk, saves me money if I don't have to go into Walmart to just get 3 things, Oh and I think the Milk was supposed to be on sale for $2.99, I didn't notice that I didn't get the price until I got home and decided $0.60 wasn't worth the fight, you win some, you lose some)

I used a $5 gift card from last week and my RedCard to get another 5% off! (I love the Redcard because it comes out of my checking account, not a credit card!)

Total: $15.50
I got back $3.29 from my mobile sites, making the total around $12 which is a great deal for all of this stuff!

Then we went to Old Navy. I had a $20 reward for using our Gap Card. I don't believe in getting a bunch of credit cards BUT we buy the majority of our clothes at Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic for Bryan's work clothes. So the Gap Card makes sense for us. I pay it off every month. I love that it generates rewards too! It's like free money!

I got everything pictured with my free reward of $20. I didn't spend a penny! I actually had to add on the sticker book and coke to be able to cancel out the taxes. Ha! Hudson picked out his new hat and he needed a solid shirt to go with shorts this summer. Can't beat free!

So I made three trips and after all of the savings spent less than $13 on everything pictured (retail value of $61)!

And yes I had started drinking the coke at this point, ha!

My total grocery bill for this week is $13, and I am staying away from Wal-Mart because I go thinking that I need like 3 things and end up spending $60 which is why I just picked up the few things I needed at Target.
