Weekend In Review...

We had such a great weekend. Friday was finally a nice day after the week was very rainy and dreary.

My grandma came to play with us in the morning. It is so cute how much my boys love her spunky personality.

Then we ate lunch and went out to run some errands. I had a few Father's Day things left to get and needed to get some groceries. The boys did so good at our first two stops that we stopped and played at a little park that Hudson loves for a little while.
I managed to get two new workout shirts, shorts and 4 pairs of underwear for Bryan for $7 at Gap by combining my Gap rewards with sales. All of those things full priced were over $150. I used a free $10 mailer from Kohls to get two cards and two wax melts for $1.

Friday night Hudson spent the night with Tony. Bryan decided to try smoking a pizza, and since the boys and I had had a busy day I hadn't worked out yet. I really wanted to eat pizza so after I put Rhett to bed (and while the Pizza smoked for two hours) I went out for a run. I was so proud of myself that I ran 2.8 miles without stopping. That's the most I've run nonstop in a very, very long time.

Saturday Bryan smoked a brisket all day for our Father's Day dinner with family. While Hudson was gone and Rhett was napping in the morning I got out and went to the local Farmer's Market. I got some blueberries (the best EVER) and some fresh green beans. I also got some fresh flowers. I love how they brighten up my kitchen.

My very favorite little boutique, Kate Austin, recently opened up on the square. Every time I go in there I come out with new stuff and their staff is SO nice and helpful. Since I don't get time without my boys very often, I stopped in after getting my goodies at the Farmer's Market. I got to chat with the owner some, who is so sweet, and I got some great clothes and a new candle. I decided to try on some jeans, because I really need a new pair, but I went into the dressing room already assuming they wouldn't fit. I was so excited to see that I fit back into a regular size of jeans that they carry in boutiques and snatched up a new pair of Dear John "Boyfriend Jeans", they're so cute and will be great for wearing with whatever this summer. I am positive they wouldn't have fit two weeks ago and I bought them snug so that they will still fit for awhile. If you're local and haven't been to Kate Austin, you should go in! There are two locations, one is on the Bentonville square and the other is by Qdoba by the Promenade in Rogers.

I put my new clothes on for Bryan when I got home and literally pranced around the house because I was so excited about my jeans. If that's not motivating, I don't know what is. So then I put on my new workout clothes and did Insanity because I promised my mom that I wouldn't run for the 5th day in a row and hurt my knee.

Bryan worked in the yard and I got some one on one time with Rhett. This boy really is so sweet.

Then Saturday night we had my parents, grandparents, brother and Tony over to eat Bryan's first smoked Brisket and to celebrate Father's Day. I forgot to take a picture, but we had a great time, and the brisket was awesome.

Sunday we went to church and ate brisket left overs for lunch. Rhett slept til 8 and took a long middle of the day nap so we decided to forgo Hudson's afternoon nap and take the boys to the splash park instead. They had a blast and surprisingly enough for 2 pm on Sunday afternoon, it was a ghost town. We had the whole place to ourselves, which was great!

We just vegged out the rest of the day and spent time together as a family.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and great Father's Day!

Happy Monday!
