Weight Watchers Friday-- Week 6 and Bryan's Birthday

I was dreading this weigh in more than any other weigh in to date. I had in my head that if I was within a pound of last week's weight I would be happy.

I did not track points this week while I was gone. I was WAY too busy. I didn't eat horribly though and I managed to work out at least once every day and twice a few days.

So you can imagine my surprise when I stepped on the scale last night at the meeting and I was down 2.4 lbs! Woo hoo!

I also need to fess up that I had two half cups of diet coke and I am glad because I didn't care one little bit about it and it made me realize that I was over my addiction! Also a plus this week!!!

When I was getting dressed yesterday I threw on this vest that I bought last summer. I bought it without trying it on and it didn't fit, but now... it fits! Woo!

I am now down 12.4 lbs total. 51.6 to go!

*I have had several comments and emails about how much weight I am trying to lose. I have been careful to not share my actual numbers but I did want to say that my goal weight puts my BMI in the healthy range and that is my goal, to be healthy, not super skinny. I'm glad (and SUPER flattered) that I don't look like I need to lose that much weight, but you also have to remember that this is the internet and most people tend to share the most flattering pictures. Maybe one day I will share my actual numbers, but today is not that day... but I can guarantee I will share my before and after pictures once I am close to my goal! :)

Also last night we celebrated Bryan's birthday with my mom, Tony, Jordan and David. My dad is out of town. Hudson had been insisting that daddy needed a Spiderman cake... so I make Bryan's favorite Carrot Cake with a Spiderman topper. Ha!

Bryan's new smoker/grill was his big gift but I had a few tricks up my sleeve this year. Jordan and I had Janet write little notes to each of them (Bryan and Jordan) and I have been saving Bryan's until now. He didn't even know that it existed. I took it and found a girl on etsy who does custom jewelry and keychains and I had it made into a keychain to surprise him. This is Janet's actual handwriting. I am so thrilled with how it turned out and he loved it so much.

Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week and have a wonderful weekend! We are going to be sodding part of our yard this weekend, sounds fun, right?!
