PediaCare® Smooth Melts™
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of PediaCare®.
My boys are typically GREAT medicine takers. I have always used the liquid and the syringe and really haven't ever had any problems. Well HADN'T had until a few weeks ago when we were desperate and only had pills in the kind of medicine we needed for Hudson.
Have you ever tried to get a 4-year-old to take an oral pill?
NOT HAPPENING.
We ended up making him more sick by trying to get him to take the pill than if we would have left him alone probably. Lesson learned.
So when I found out about PediaCare® and their new Smooth Melts™ I was excited to try them! PediaCare® Smooth Melts™ Fever Reducer/Pain Reliever is the brand’s newest innovation. It’s another great-tasting product from PediaCare® that contains acetaminophen to help reduce your child’s fever. These chewable tablets are much easier for children to take and feature an unbeatable cherry taste kids love. Each bottle of PediaCare® Smooth Melts™ contains 24 chewable tablets, which are designed to help make getting better easier. Caregivers simply determine proper dosage of the pre-scored tablets by reviewing the dosing chart on the package. And by having a convenient bottle, the caregiver can easily store any extra half tablets (if necessary, see image about dosing below). They're currently available for purchase at Rite Aid and on Amazon.com.
I was lucky enough to get to attend a Webinar with PediaCare® partner, pediatrician and father, Dr. David Hill, author of Dad to Dad: Parenting like a Pro, who has helped develop informational videos offering tips for caregivers on what to do when their child gets sick. To view Dr. Hill’s videos, visit the PediaCare® YouTube page: http://www.youtube.com/PEDIACARE.
Dr. Hill was SO down to earth and took several questions from concerned moms about their kiddos. I have started reading his book and even in just the few chapters I have read so far, the information is GREAT. It's especially great for parents of little ones in knowing what to do with those pesky viruses and when it's important to see your pediatrician! This would have been such great info for me a few weeks ago when Rhett had that pesky Hand, Food and Mouth disease!
The PediaCare® website is pretty cool. They even have a symptom checker to see what medications might be good for you child's ailments. For more information about PediaCare® and the full line of products, please visit pediacare.com, or join us on Facebook at Facebook.com/PediaCare and on Twitter at @PediaCare.
ALSO... PediaCare® is giving away 15 PediaCare® care package that will include assorted PediaCare® products and a book (ARV $75). The giveaway is open from today until Tuesday October 21.
