Play Dates and Friends

I am so thankful for my friends and for their kids who are my kids' best friends. I think back to my mom's best friends when I was a little kid and some of their kids are still people I am close with, and one of them is like a sister to me. I know that we will look back on these pictures in 10 or 20 years and laugh and be so thankful for the friendships now and (hopefully, still) then!

I got to go out to dinner with my group of girl friends on Tuesday night and it was SO great. It's always so refreshing to get out with out the kids and just chat. We always go to dinner and then hit up Starbucks and stay there until we get kicked out. We scheduled a play date for today and then I got a call to show my house today and had to shift our schedule around but we still got to have our friends over to play.

I love having friends in my life who understand my crazy and are right there with me in the thick of it. I have gone through several lonely periods since becoming a mom, and I am so thankful to have these girls to talk and laugh with, and they just get it. Such a blessing to me.
