I know I have mentioned this before and I will probably be mentioning it again... but this boy has thrown his momma for a loop and has been wanting to potty train. He has been pretty difficult in every other aspect of life so far, but for some reason (maybe having a big brother? maybe because he has sensitive skin?) he is wanting to potty on the potty. I started around a month ago, then I thought we were moving and stopped pushing it but I am reading up and getting all of our "gear" in order to start again this week!

Mommy and Rhett
So first I downloaded the  Pull-Ups® Time to Potty App where you can find a tool that motivates, educates and rewards potty training behavior, helping moms and toddlers develop consistent routines. It has a Time to Potty timer that helps your child learn to take regular potty breaks and can be personalized to your child. Rhett's favorite aspect is the interactive game!

Pull-Ups® brand knows there are a number of different methods parents use for potty training, but when you use Pull-Ups® Training Pants at the start of the process, it enables learning for toddlers and fosters independence in a way diapers can’t – right from the start of potty training. We love the stretchy sides that teach toddlers how to take them off and put them back on all by themselves, and easy-open sides make it easy for mom and child to check for potty breaks. You can enroll in the Big Kid Academy at Pull-Ups.com to begin your customized potty training journey today!

I say this a lot, but my children are almost exact opposites. Pull-Ups® knows that every child is unique – that’s why when you enroll at the Big Kid Academy, you’ll get a personalized “My Pull-Ups®” page with potty training activities and advice customized to your point in the potty training journey.

Pull-Ups® training pants come in three sizes: 2T–3T (18- 34 lbs.); 3T–4T (32–40 lbs.) and 4T–5T (38+ lbs.) Pull-Ups® training pants are available in new designs featuring Doc McStuffins and Ariel for girls and Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Lightning McQueen for boys.

Our favorite Pull-Ups® are the Pull-Ups® Learning Designs. Rhett loves seeing his favorite characters on them and he is excited to wear them. Our favorites right now are the ones pictured below.

Right now Pull-Ups® has a great coupon for their Pull-Ups® Learning Designs, so that's what we have started with.

You can use this link to download your coupon for $2 off one package of Pull-Ups® Learning Designs Training Pants (Jumbo Pack or larger).  If you share the link with your followers you’ll receive an additional $1 off!

Do you use Pull-Ups®? Are you potty training right now? I'd love to hear from you!

  1. with my son who is 5 now. (we are both full time working parents) we started him on thanksgiving weekend (giving me 4 full days with him at home) and we went on the potty every 30 minutes wether he said he had to go or not. we sat him on the potty and he sat there for maybe 5 minutes. if something happened YAY if not, oh well. you want him to get the sensation of having to go. it took him about 10 days to be potty trained (occasional accidents yes, but within 30 days we went on a 10 hour car trip and i put a pull-up on him and said if you have an accident it's ok - but he didn't have an accident the entire trip!) sleep trained was a whole different beast! but once you start you can't stop!

  2. My girls trained at 16 and 17 months. I am a huge advocate of potty training before age 2. I really did nothing special. I did introduce the potty very early, just so it was not a foreign item. Both girls were going in the potty on some occasions around 12 months. I know this is sponsored by pull ups but I am not a fan. For the special needs population they have a great purpose ( I am a special ed teacher). For a typical child, I don't see it but that is my opinion. I just feel like naked time and regular undies or cloth trainers offer better success. We cloth diapered due to allergies to disposable diapers ( very severe actually) so pull ups would never have been a choice.
