What Else We've Been Up to.... and some new Fashion Finds!
So besides Rhett turning two... we've also been SUPER sick.
It started with me on Thursday with a sore throat. Then I felt AWFUL on Friday but put on my happy mommy face to celebrate Rhett. Saturday Bryan woke up with it... and so the weekend went...
I finally went and got Antibiotics yesterday so I am hoping that I am on the UP and UP. I haven't worked out in a week and I haven't really had an appetite either so my weigh-in tonight will be interesting.
So while I have been laid up in my house for the last week I have perused the internet and done a bit of shopping (while watching the complete series of Parenthood!). I used to hate shopping online because nothing would fit in the sizes I "thought" I should fit into. Now that I've lost some weight, my size is a little more consistent and I thought some of the new trendy boxes would be fun to sign up for.
So my friend Katy always has THE cutest jewelry. I am not a jewelry shopper. Everything I have is stuff that's been gifted to me. I wear the same things 24/7. It's actually pretty boring. I don't really have "trendy" pieces and I feel like maybe I've been missing out. So the first box that I signed up for is Rocksbox. It's super cute jewelry that a stylist picks for you each month. You can keep it and wear it while you decide if you want to purchase it. My first box is on the way, and I'm nosy, so I pulled up my account and can see what they sent and I love it all. I am SOOOOOO excited to get it. It's a necklace (which I added to my wishlist when I signed up) and the stylist added earrings and a necklace to go with it.
So the girls at Rocksbox sent me a code to share with my readers to sign up for a free one month trial! Hop over here and use the code jennabuettemeyerxoxo when you check out to get your first month free! I will be sure to share my goodies when they get here!
...and I finally took the plunge and signed up for Stitch Fix. I've seen everyone and their brother post about it and then was talking to my friend the other day and she does it and loves it. So I decided, why not?? I am so excited about my first box and I can't wait to get it next week. Stitch Fix is a box subscription service where you go through and fill out a bunch of stuff and a stylist designs outfits for you. You pick kind of clothes you want, the price range and even colors! I am getting more into fashion these days and thought it would be a fun thing to sign up for as a "treat" to myself each month, that has nothing to do with food. If you're like me and you haven't heard about it you can hop over here and check it out! I'll be sure to show some of my favs when I get my box too!
Any other subscription boxes out there I am missing out on? I know there are some makeup ones too... The world of online shopping is so big now! Do you use Stitch Fix or Rocksbox?? I'd love to hear what you think!
