Weekend In Review
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Friday the boys and I went and did a little retail therapy! We found some new lamp shades and shelves for the boy's playroom. It was rainy and dreary but fun to get out with them for a bit. I also finally found the "healthy" coffee creamer I'd been looking for and hopped on the Kombucha train. A bunch of the girls in my BB Coaching Group LOVE this stuff so I decided to try it for a week- I'm on day 4 and LOVING the way it's helped my digestion. Have you ever tried it??
Rhett fell and hit his face twice last week... he looks pretty sad right now... yikes. And can I get a Hallelujah Praise Jesus that Target has snacks that keep my boys entertained while I shop? Best thing ever.
Posted this for Face to Face Friday. On the left was a few weeks after Hudson was born. One of the biggest things that I notice is how awful my complexion was. Bryan said he notices that I am so much more confident now...
Saturday we got up early and took the boys out to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. They're FINALLY at fun ages to take out and do stuff. We've been waiting four years for this.
Then we literally worked on the house ALL day. And then again ALL day Sunday. And we almost have it done now. I love seeing my house look like home again.
I don't have a lot of full body pictures from when I was at my heaviest but I found this on my time hop yesterday from a few weeks postpartum with Rhett. I was so excited that my pre-pregnancy jeansfit buttoned. I thought a flowy top would hide my muffin top.... but it's so encouraging to see where I am today TWO years later compared to this-- I see a huge difference in my thighs. In honor of my two years of transformation I'm offering a $20 gift card back to anyone who purchases any of my favorite BB programs-- Focus T25, PiYo or 21 Day Fix with a month of Shakeology this week. You can email me for details.
At 1 I met my friend Katy to run our 11 miles. It was the last long run before our half. We have just under two weeks! It was beautiful and 72 degrees outside but the run was a hard one!
We've gotten quite a bit of rain over the last week or so and on our long run trail we have to go under two overpasses and they were both under about a foot of water. So we had to take our shoes off and walk barefoot in the dark and hope we wouldn't step on glass. For the second overpass we found another entrance that was rock covered and we kept our shoes on for that one-- it was definitely entertaining-- but we did what we had to to knock our run out! And now my body is extremely sore.
Bryan smoked salmon and chicken for us to eat on this week and I am so ready to be back at our healthy eating.
I also ordered a new Erin Condren Life Planner... I haven't had one the last year and a half and my organization has been very lacking. I'm needing to be able to schedule out my days a little bit better and decided to bite the bullet and order a new one. They're 25% (code lifeplanner25) off right now so I decided that was a win-win for me since I was wanting one anyways!
Alright, that's all for today. Hope you all had a great weekend! Happy Monday!
