Wedding Bells are Ringing...

So last night we went to a wedding. My father-in-law married an amazing lady that our family loves. CJ and Tony have been seeing each other since late last year and decided it was time to tie the knot. We are thrilled to have her joining our family. The wedding was a tiny little ceremony on one of the local trails and then they rented out this cute cafe for a reception. When I say tiny-- I mean literally tiny-- just immediate family, Bryan, Jordan and I and CJ's kids and her parents-- and our friends Jerad and Katy (because Jerad married them). A lot of people were/are surprised because they didn't know about it... and really not a whole lot of people knew about it... but now it's a done deal and we are so excited for them.

And I love this last picture because CJ has totally stepped in and stepped up to the plate to be a "grandmotherly figure" to our boys-- Hudson, Rhett and Hank. They all LOVE her and she loves them so much. When we got back to the house to pick Rhett up last night and CJ walked in, Rhett ran to her and I was happy to capture this sweet moment on camera. We knew she was the perfect fit when several months ago after spending time with CJ and Tony, Hudson came home and told us that he loved CJ because she played with him like G-Ma did. That's the best we could hope for.

So congratulations to Tony and CJ & Welcome to the family CJ! We love you!
