We had a really good weekend! Friday night we had a fall party with friends. Bryan had a Men's Event so I took the boys alone. Katy and I needed costumes that weren't expensive so we wore our husband's hunting clothes and became hunters.
The boys were Superheroes... Hudson was mad about taking pictures... otherwise very happy about being Ironman.
Love these boys and their friendship! Love that Deacon is cheesing it up for the camera.
Saturday morning I decided it was time to go to the doctor for whatever nasty bug I had. It was a LONG morning but I left with some things in the works and an antibiotic... hoping to find out more info on some of the test results this week.
Tony and CJ picked up the boys around noon to keep them for the night (yay thanks guys!!!) and I laid down shortly after that and took an almost 4 hour nap. Apparently I needed it. Then Bryan took me on a date-- we went to our favorite restaurant downtown (Table Mesa) and to see Bridge of Spies. It was so nice just to be out with Bryan for a little bit. I really enjoyed it.
Sunday morning I woke up feeling SO much better. Bryan took me out to breakfast and then we took the dogs hiking at Tanyard Creek. It was the perfect fall morning.
Then we picked up the boys, headed home for naps and then went to have our family pictures taken! The boys did good so we took them for cake pops and hot chocolate at Starbucks afterwards.
After pictures we headed out to my parent's house to do the fire pit and celebrate my Dad's birthday! It was a perfect night out by the fire pit and the boys did so good!
Late last night Katie, my friend who is also our favorite photographer, sent me a preview of one of our pictures... I love it and can't wait to see the rest!
