35 weeks!!!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 35 weeks!

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a Honey Dew Melon. (19-22 inches, 5.5 lbs)

Maternity Clothes: My maternity shirts are showing my belly now. I am living in my favorite VS sweat pants, yoga pants and XL t-shirts which are also starting to show my belly... I'm trying to stay away from jeans and booties (aka real clothes) these days. SO MUCH SWELLING.

Gender: Baby BOY! Sawyer Anthony.

Movement: Yes moving a lot. Yesterday I felt like he moved all day long. He especially likes to cram his foot into my ribs. It's great. :)

Sleep: Almost nonexistent. I sleep for 45 min to an hour at a time before I have to pee. Then I am awake from 2-4 almost every night starving. I think he's just preparing me for when he's here and I'm not sleeping. (yep, this. Just add leg cramps this week. and basically I am tired.)

What I miss: Feeling normal. I think I say that every week. I'm just ready to feel good again but I am enjoying the last few weeks of feeling him move and being thankful that my body can do this but third trimester is ROUGH. (yep this again)

Cravings: Donuts. But i haven't had any. Ice cream. I did go buy some mint chocolate chip ice cream this week and it tasted so yummy. Burgers and Steak over the weekend. I can't eat a whole lot at a time so I've been grazing or basically eating 24/7.

Symptoms: Leg cramps, indigestion has gotten better- I think because he's dropped some. I can't breathe. I was completely out of breath just walking Rhett into preschool this morning and had to sit in the car and catch my breath before I could drive- yes it was THAT bad. Otherwise just feeling VERY pregnant. Living in sweat pants and top knots. Ready to meet my baby boy.

Favorite Moment this week: I had a lot of good moments this week. I got to spend some one on one time with Hudson on Friday, which doesn't happen very often. I'm starting to feel bad that my time is going to be so much more divided soon and wanted some special time with him. I just absolutely love having a 6 year old. 6 is my favorite age yet and he really is the best big brother to Rhett and is so excited for Sawyer to be here. Also the boys went to Joplin with G-Pa to spend the night Saturday so Bryan and I literally did NOTHING all day yesterday but lay on the couch and watch reality TV- Specifically Celebrity Apprentice (I really like Arnold as the host!) and Survivor. It was heavenly. And we've been SO blessed by friends who've brought dinner almost every other night for the last week. It has been such a huge help for me. My blood pressure has stayed low and we've just chugging along. I go back to the doctor on Wednesday as long as nothing changes between now and then but basically i am ready for him to come any time now-- but one more week at least would be ideal!

That's all for today! Happy Monday!
