36 weeks!!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 36 weeks!

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a head of romaine lettuce/cantelope. (19-22 inches, 6 lbs)

Maternity Clothes: My maternity shirts are showing my belly now. I am living in my favorite VS sweat pants, yoga pants and XL t-shirts which are also starting to show my belly... I couldn't tell you the last time I put on "real" clothes.

Gender: Baby BOY! Sawyer Anthony.

Movement: His movement has slowed some because I literally think he's running out of space. He's pretty active in the late morning and early evening. And likes to wake me up at 3 AM every single night (that's just a sign of things to come I think).

Sleep: I've been sleeping okay. I have absolutely no problem falling asleep (on the couch at 8 pm ever night ;)) but I'm up every hour going to the bathroom... so that's fun. Also still waking up hungry at 3 AM and usually hurting so I take a bath and go back to be at 4 until the boys wake up sometime around 6.

What I miss: My pre-pregnancy jeans. For some reason I've been thinking a lot about them the last few days... goal is to be back in them by next fall!

Cravings: Salad. SO WEIRD. I know. Specifically a salad that a friend brought with dinner one night that I am now obsessed with- it's mixed lettuce and spinach, dried cranberries, pecans, cheddar cheese and apples. SOOOOO good. I've been eating it every day and actually had it at 10 AM yesterday. And Cafe Latte Shakeology. I haven't been drinking Shakeology much this pregnancy because it hasn't sounded good, but the last two weeks I've been wanting it every day.

Symptoms: CONTRACTIONS. Lots and Lots of BH Contractions this weekend. Makes me think he's coming soon hopefully! I was dilated to a 1 at my appointment last week so we will see! He's dropped and my indigestion is SO much better. I've been having some leg cramps... otherwise feeling VERY third trimester and very ready to have this baby boy!

Favorite Moment this week: I don't know. This week I've started to get ambivalent (I think thats the right word) about his delivery. While I am so excited and ready to have him here, I also realize how much our lives are about to change. It mostly makes me a little sad for Rhett not to be my baby anymore. Rhett and I had a couple of days just us this week and it was really good for us both. He's been super clingy with me and starting to act out a little about the baby coming so I know it's going to be a big transition for him. So this week I guess my favorite moments were just the ones enjoying time with my family before we become a family of 5!

That's all for today! If I make it to 37 weeks I'll be back with another update next Monday-- but that will be a pregnancy record for me since I've yet to make it to 37 weeks so far with any of my pregnancies! Happy Monday!
