I'm still here! Barely!
Oh my goodness.
I just sat down at my computer for the first time in what feels like centuries. The little bit of working that I've been doing has all be on my phone while nursing. I have a RARE moment with big boys content and playing and a sleeping baby boy (who actually is waking up as I type this).
I just wanted y'all to know I am still here, barely hanging on, and I have ten boat loads of pictures to share... so I'm going to do a bit of a photo dump. But if you're not already follow me on instagram I post there almost daily!
Being a mom of three is NO joke. Sawyer is five weeks old today and nursing every 2-3 hours around the clock. I haven't slept longer than 90 minutes in 5 weeks. My body, for the most part is healing, I go back to the doctor tomorrow... but I can definitely tell on the days I over-do it. We've had lots and lots of help. Bryan had three weeks off and then my mom took a day off and my dad has helped with the big boys. I am finally getting the hang of it- but a little exhausted. I told Bryan last night that my 10 minute shower once he's home for the day feels like a day at the spa after having a boy touching me, nursing, climbing on me... etc... all day long. I love it, I do, but it is wearing me out!
My big boys LOVE their baby. Like love love love. There hasn't been any jealous- just two big helpers. They fight over holding him and playing with him- they're as smitten as the rest of us.
Rhett turned 4 last week- I need to blog his 4 year old update- so that will be coming soon. But we had a little party with our family and some of his friends. He had a really great birthday. We also had newborn pictures taken and I am mentally working on a post of all my favorite newborn things. So stay tuned for all those as our life returns to normal a little bit.
So I'll leave you with this cute face. He is an absolute doll and growing like a weed. We are so happy with our new family of FIVE.
(ALSO-- I opened up my free accountability group on Facebook yesterday. If you want to join us-- for fitness, weight loss, clean eating, relationship, religious, mom life... etc support-- you're more than welcome! Email me for more info!)
